PSO & SUBJECT OUTCOMES
Students enrolled in B.Sc Degree program in zoology will study &aquire complete knowledge of biological sciences. After Graduation they will possess high knowledge which will provide them competitive advantage in pursuing higher studies from India or abroad and seek jobs in academic, research or industries.
- Students will be able to define & explain major concepts in Biological Sciences.
- They will be able to use biological instrumentation and laboratory techniques.
- Students will be able to identify, classify and differentiate chordates &nonchordates based on their morphological , anatomical & Systemic organization.
- Students will be describe ecological, economic and medical importance of various animals in human life. It will create a curiosity and unawareness among them to explore the animal diversity and take up wild life photography or wild life exploration as career option.
- Students will be able to explain how organism function at the level of gene, genome, cell, tissue, organ and organ system.
- Students will characterise the biological chemical and physical feature of enviornment that animals inhabit and will exxplain how animals function and interact with respect to biological chemical and physical processes in natural and impacted enviornment.
- Students will understand the applied biological sciences such as Sericulture Apiculture , Aquaculture, Industrial microbiology and medicine for their career opportunities.
- It will enable students to choose from a range of zoology specializations and opening career opportunities in area live ecology research and conservation.
